Animal waste processing plant opens in Lida District

The BIOVAST plant was solemnly inaugurated in the village of Dorzhi, Lida District, on 23 October. This plant is the first of its kind in Belarus. It was built to process animal waste, BelTA has learned.

The Lithuanian ARVI group of companies has completed the project to upgrade the animal by-product processing plant in Lida District. The new plant was built from scratch over a record-short period of time – just nine months. The facility occupies five hectares and includes a manufacturing building, an administrative building, a new boiler house, a car wash, disposal works, and a gas station.
