Costa Rica gets its first public biodiesel pumps


Costa Rica’s first gas station selling biodiesel has opened in Ochomogo, Cartago. The biofuel is dispensed at the Servicentro Cristo Rey. The fuel is supplied by Energías Biodegradables de Costa Rica, who has been producing biodiesel for more than 11 years. The company, with an investment of US$1 million dollars will be producing some 150,000 litres daily.
